Grade 9 you will be reading literature that is focused on the idea of conflict. In the literature we study, the conflict between characters create internal conflict for us as we wrestle with these questions:
What is right? How do we know its right?
Conflict creates tension and interest in a story by adding doubt as to the outcome.
You have been working on completing poems that embed oxymorons. This figure of speech allows us to practice selecting words that also seem to conflict with one another. Here are some examples:

You will be creating your own wiki and compiling your work on it over the next few months. What is a wiki? How does it work?

When you make your own Wiki you also have to make your own logo.
